About
A bit about me
Hi, I am Courtney and I am a wife and Mum of 3 cheeky, beautiful and healthy children.
I am the ‘doctor’ within our home. I am the go-to person for all our household ailments and feel comfort in knowing I am able to take care of most health issues that have come our way (so far). Since starting a family, the health of our whole family has been front and centre and I am constantly learning on a daily basis through the lived experience as well as through formal education. You will find me listening to an educational podcast or audiobook with any spare minute I have in a day.
I am a student for life and have always had a strong interest in holistic health, ever since my teenage years.
I interestingly didn’t follow my intuition when I was younger and I found myself studying Commerce at Uni and subsequently getting into the finance industry. I thoroughly enjoyed working in this field however, and especially as a Financial Advisor for a number of years. I was able to learn many important life skills in this field.
However, it was in this role that I started to notice many health issues that were arising for clients and this naturally had me wanting to dive deeper into the health space. It was in 2020 that I made the huge life change to leave the industry that I came to love, to become a full time Mum and study in around taking care of my family.
Once I became a mother 7 years ago, I knew that I wanted a toolkit on hand for any of the health events that get thrown our way as parents. That’s when Homeopathy found me and I have used it on an almost daily basis ever since. My passion is to help get Homeopathy into the homes of those families that want it and are looking for a more natural and effective approach to health care.
I have recently completed the homeopathy practitioner course through Melissa Kupsch and the RMDY Collective. This course further enhanced my knowledge around homeopathic first aid so I can share this powerful medicine with the rest of the world. I can now help educate families so that they too can have safe and effective medicine to care for their family like we do.
I am also completing the Functional Nutrition Course through The Nutrition Academy as nutrition is such a vital component of good health and something that I have always been interested in. We generally follow an 80/20 rule in our home. Our diet isn’t “perfect” but we want to make sure the we all have a positive relationship with food. Wholesome nutrition is something that is of importance in our home and our kids know that good food will make them “big and strong”. They do have ‘treats’ every now and then too and they are encouraged to understand how these foods make them feel.
I love spending quality time with my husband and our three children, travelling, consuming delicious food, and being active outdoors in nature. Having fun is so important for all of us. Surrounding myself with amazing women who want to lift each other up also brings me so much happiness and fulfillment in life. I love having a conversation about anything and everything and love being there to listen and build connection with others.
